CYPRESS OF ABAR-KUH
The Cypress of Abar-Kuh is the second oldest living organism in the continent of Asia and it is the world’s third oldest living tree.
Although it is difficult to determine its exact age, it is estimated to be 4,500 years old.
It stands 82 feet tall and is 37 feet wide.
It is located in central Iran and it is a protected cultural heritage site.
